There are many different opinions about the Book of Jonah, but one thing is sure, Jonah kne the Grace of God, and he knew if he preached, the Ninevites would repent, and God would save them. Jonah would rather drown in the sea than see the Ninevites saved, but God had a plan for Jonah, and no matter how he g\tried, he could not escape escape the sovereign plan of God.
